Industrial heat treatment

Intakedrawing, grade Prepracking, charge Heatfurnace to route Quenchoil / polymer Temperwithin 4 h Checkprotocol
A part moves from intake on the drawing through to a signed control protocol. Tempering runs the same day, no later than four hours after the quench.

We take structural and tool steel for quench-and-temper, carburising, normalising, annealing and stress relief. Every job is run to the drawing and the section, not by eye.

The shop opened in 2011 and sits in the north-western industrial zone of Chelyabinsk. Today it is 14 people, six of them heat treaters, working two shifts with Saturday on a pre-booked request. We have run our own hardness and metallography lab since 2016, added a second pit furnace in 2021, and installed the ПО-1 tempering furnace in 2024 as the flow of quench-and-temper work grew.

Acceptance conditions, in brief

A part is taken on its drawing with the grade, the required hardness and the measurement zone marked. The size limit is 1200 mm and up to 180 kg, set by the rack; the pit furnaces take a cylinder up to ⌀500×900 mm. Every charge leaves with an eight-point protocol, and we keep the copy for three years.

Quench & temper

Eight common grades, oil I-20A or a polymer–water bath, and three tempering bands.

Quenching routes →

Carburising

Case at 920–940 °C, a layer up to 1.2 mm, then quench and a low temper.

How we size the case →

Anneal & normalise

Softening for machining, evening out structure, and relieving weld stress.

What we take, and what we do not

The scope is narrow on purpose: we are heat treaters, not a general shop. We run what fits our furnaces and can be checked on our own instruments.

Send requests and drawings to order@ironquench.cloud. The shop keeps no phone; anything about a specific part is settled in writing so there is a record.
